In 1942 she married Ernest Joseph Verba, a Captain in the U.S Army who was stationed at the time at Fort Sill, Oklahoma and while she was working at Douglas Aircraft, fabricating aircraft for the War effort. In 1945, they relocated to the Washington D.C. area where Ernest was assigned. During that time, Marge was employed at the Office of Records, Prisoners of War, at the Pentagon. The family was then transferred to the Presidio, San Francisco, California, and moved to Oklahoma City in 1953 where she resided the rest of her life. Marge was a member of Epworth Methodist Church and was active in the Putnam Heights PTA while her children were in school. She then began a career in the women's apparel industry at Street's until their closure and afterwards at the Jade Shop in Shepard Mall and May Avenue. Marge was widowed in 1975, and soon thereafter retired to help care for her grandsons. In 1980 she met Ralph Bingham, and they were lifelong companions until his recent death on September 20th, 2015. Marge spent many happy years traveling with Ralph, enjoying and caring for her family and her beloved kitties in her home until her death on October 16th, at the age of 93. Marge is survived by her children, Patricia and Paul; her grandchildren, Christopher, Aaron, and Max; her great granddaughter, Kathren; and her niece Cynthia.
