Marjorie "Nadine" Harmon (nee Allison) was born September 6, 1921, in Oklahoma City, OK, to Elmer Richard and Susie Elizabeth (Storey) Allison. She passed away on February 17, 2015. Nadine graduated from Central High School in 1938 where she was involved in the orchestra, girl's band, O.C.U. concert band and the Kiltie Band. She attended the University of Oklahoma where she was in the concert band, played on O.U. radio and was a member of the Pride of Oklahoma Marching Band. She became the director of the Kiltie Band in 1942. The Kilties represented Oklahoma at the New York World's Fair. They also participated in numerous American Legion National Conventions and over 40 Goodwill Tours with the Oklahoma Chamber of Commerce. Nadine worked for many years in accounting and in statistical reporting. She loved music and helping people. Nadine is preceded in death by her husband, James Harmon, her parents, her step-daughter, Dorothy Lousie Streich, and sister Dorothy Butler Martie. Nadine is survived by her daughter, Holly Clifton, grandchildren, Joshua Tyler Swanson, Lauren Elizabeth Ridener and husband Russell, and step-granddaughter, Deborah Louise Wilhelm and husband Jim. She is also survived by great-grandchildren, Emma Harmon and Tyler David Swanson, Peyton Alexis and Skylar Paige Ridener and step-great-grandchildren, Trevor and Taylor Wilhelm. The family wishes to thank Quail Ridge Senior Living and Bellevue Health and Rehabilitation Center for their dedication and commitment in providing care for Nadine. A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 20, 2015 at 4:00pm at Westminster Presbyterian Church Chapel, 4400 N. Shartel, Oklahoma City, OK 73118. In lieu of flowers the family requests donation be made to: The Alzheimer's Association, Children's Miracle Network or a charity of your choice.
