Mark Anthony Lazzara

Mark Anthony Lazzara was born July 4, 1956, in Chicago, IL, to Frances and Tony Lazzara, and passed away June 28, 2014 in OKC. The family moved to OKC in 1960, operating Tony's Via Roma Restaurant until 1989. Mark graduated from Bishop McGuinness High School in 1974, and enjoyed teaching scuba diving and concealed weapons. Mark loved life, his family and his friends, and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Gemma M. Lazzara. Mark is survived by his daughters, Erin N. Lazzara and Gemma M. Lazzara, Gemma's fiance, Daniel Jekel, Jr., Mark's favorites, grandsons, Hayden Anthony Lazzara and Dillon Edward Jekel, and his brother, Chris Lazzara. Mass will be Thurs., July 3 @ 10 a.m. @ Christ the King Church, 8005 Dorset Dr., Nichols Hills.
