Mark John Cox

Mark John Cox went to be with his Lord and Savior on April 26, 2018 at the age of 54 after a lengthy illness. He was born on September 19, 1963 to John and Mary Jo Cox in Oklahoma City. On April 29, 1989 he married the love of his life Penny and together they had two children. Mark was a loving son, husband, father, and grandfather who never knew a stranger. He loved to spend time with family and friends, and had an undying passion for fishing and hunting. Mark is survived by his parents; his wife Penny Cox; son Garrett Cox; daughter Bethany Cox (Tony Santiago); granddaughter Roselynn; sister Susan Richison (Randy); sister Sandra Guthrie (Darren); brother Stephen Cox (Diana) plus numerous nieces and nephews. Viewing for family and friends will be on April 30, 2018 with family present starting at 4p at the funeral home. A celebration of Mark's life will be held on Wednesday May 2, 2018 at 10am at Southern Hills Baptist Church in Oklahoma City.
