Marko Kezic

Marko Kezic, age 77, passed away peacefully at his home in Oklahoma City on January 24, 2025. He was born July 25, 1947, in Bosnia and Herzegovina of Joso and Ljuba Kezic.

Marko was a gifted and talented craftsman from a painting tradesman to automotive painting. He was a construction contractor and built many homes with his last and greatest accomplishment being a home for his daughter, Irena, and her family. At one time, Marko also was a transatlantic truck driver and a café proprietor. He enjoyed singing, dancing, and telling a good joke, and he loved good food and drinks.

Marko absolutely adored his family to include his daughter, Irena and her husband Russell Kendrick; his son, Marijo Kezic and his fiancé, Tiffany Nguyen; the mother of his children, Antonija Kezic, and his siblings: Andjelka Puljic, Ilija Kezic, Marinka Joka, Josipa Rudic, Miro Kezic, and Żeljko Kezic. He was most proud of his grandchildren, Tea Avdalovic, Gabriella Kendrick, Sofia Kendrick, and Noah Marcus Kendrick.

The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude for all the overwhelming support shown during this time of loss and would ask for donations to help with final expenses in lieu of flowers.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1 pm Saturday, February 1, 2025, at the Cathedral of Our Lady of Perpetual Help. Viewing will be available at the church just prior to the Mass. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park.
