Marne Megan 'Megan Mckinnis' Mckinnis

Marne Megan McKinnis, age 60, was born December 14, 1953, in Oklahoma City and died October 18, 2014, in Oklahoma City. Megan graduated Bishop McGuinness Catholic High School and attended Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas, where she graduated with a degree in Journalism. Megan was preceded in death by her father, Fred L. McKinnis, her grandparents, Pearl and Fred O. McKinnis, her uncle, Robert Earl McKinnis, grandparents, several uncles, aunts and cousins. Survivors include her beloved mother, Margaret E. "Marne" McKinnis, cousins and many precious friends including Janet Samples, Katie Vail and Dianne del Cid. Memorials may be made to Our Lady's Cathedral Renaissance Building Fund or the charity of your choice. Friends who wish to pay their respects may call at Smith & Kernke Funeral Directors, 14624 N. May Avenue, on Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 22, 2014 at Cathedral of Our Lady of Perpetual Help, 32nd & Western, with interment to follow at Rose Hill Burial Park.
