Martha Anne Forster

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Martha Anne Forster, who peacefully left this world on January 30, 2024, in Oklahoma City. She was 79 years old.

Martha was born on September 3, 1944, in Oklahoma City to her loving parents, W. Wally and Eloise Frankfurt, who preceded her in death. Martha is survived by her three children, Cassie Petty, Bill Forster (Nancy), and Brad Forster, her cherished grandchild, and her siblings Bill Frankfurt (Kris) and Ed Frankfurt (Allie), and their families.

 Martha was a lifelong member of Westminster Presbyterian Church and loved to be part of Bible study groups. Her zest for life extended to her favorite pastimes, bowling, golf, and bridge. Martha loved the connection and camaraderie found in her bridge groups. Whether engaged in a lively game or sharing stories between hands, she cherished the time spent around the table with her friends.

Martha’s family wishes to express their deepest gratitude for the extraordinary care and compassion provided by her dedicated caregivers Shelly, Jennifer, and Mandy who supported Martha during her final days. Their compassion went above and beyond in ensuring Martha's comfort, offering solace and support to both her and her family. The family extends heartfelt thanks to these exceptional women for their incredible kindness.

Martha's life was marked by love, warmth, and a steadfast dedication to her family. Her kindness and generosity touched the lives of all who knew her. Her memory will forever be engraved in the hearts of her family and friends.

A memorial service to celebrate Martha’s life will be held on February 7 at 2 pm at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Oklahoma City.

As we gather to remember and honor Martha, let us reflect on the love she shared and the indelible mark she left on our lives. May she rest in eternal peace.
