Mary E. Brown

Mary E. Brown went to be with her Lord May 10, 2012. She was born July 24, 1920, the daughter of Lena Moulin and Henry Gessmann. She attended Midlothian Grade School, Chandler High School and graduated from St. Benedict's in Shawnee. She married Earl Brown in 1957, and to this union two children were born. She worked for Southwestern Bell Telephone for 19 years. After her husband's death in 1970, she moved to Shawnee and worked at St. Gregory's College for two years prior to moving to Chandler. She moved to Edmond in 1993. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Susan Renee, sister, Theresa and two brothers, Fred and Frank. She is survived by her son, David of Davenport, OK; one sister, Ila Watts; granddaughter, Jennifer Kay; nephews, Gary, Lance, Guy and Britt and a cousin, Mary-Belle Cole. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, May 15, 2012 at 11 a.m. at St. Monica Catholic Church in Edmond. A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. in the Chandler Cemetery.
