Mary Elizabeth Scrivner-Sigman passed away at her home surrounded by loved ones on April 2, 2012 with the dignity and grace with which she led her life. Born June 9, 1936 in Ardmore, OK, she was the 1st daughter to William Carroll Scrivner and Mildred Inez Cooper. There she met and married Lonnie Eugene Sigman, the love of her life and they were married for 57 years. They shared a passion for traveling worldwide, gourmet cuisine, art, and the love for their family. Mary loved the Lord and was a member of the Village United Methodist Church for most of her life. She had a great sense of humor, an eye for fashion, and modeled in her younger years with a unique style of sophistication and class. Mary enjoyed bird watching, home decorating, gardening, music and dance. But most of all, she enjoyed and cherished her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, and sons, Billy and Nicky Sigman. Mary is survived by her husband, Lonnie Eugene; oldest son, Lonnie Gene; grandchildren, Brian Sigman, and Christen Sigman-Amanis; great-grandchildren, Nicholas, Brooklyn, Jesse, Madison, and Dylan; her sisters, Laura Carroll Harris, and Millie Ann Adams; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family wishes to thank Ellen Salmon Spears for her loving care and family direction. Mary will be dearly missed. A funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 7, 2012 at Smith and Kernke Chapel with burial to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
