Mary Dolores Hawkins

Mary Dolores Hawkins was born on June 17, 1965 in Savannah, Georgia and died April 19, 2024 in Oklahoma City. Her parents were Robert Lee and Catherine Dolores Hawkins. In 1969, upon her father's retirement from the United States Air Force the family moved to Oklahoma City. Mary attended Rosary Elementary School (Saint Francis of Assisi Parish), Bishop McGuinness Catholic High School and attended undergraduate college at Central State University in Edmond, Oklahoma. Mary received  her doctorate degree in law (Juris Doctor) from Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Mary spent her professional career working for the District Attorney's Office in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania dealing with child support enforcement and other responsibilities.   

When she wasn't enjoying her time in Philadelphia, Mary loved visiting her family in Oklahoma City. She loved cooking and trying out new recipes on her brothers, flower gardening, classic movies, vintage stores, walking at Will Rogers and Scissortail Parks and was happy, generous and appreciative of life. Mary was full of life.

Mary is predeceased by her parents Robert Lee Hawkins and Catherine Dolores Hawkins and her beloved brother, Thomas. She is survived by brothers Robert (Jr.), John, Paul and Joseph and nieces and nephews, Scott, Allison and Susan.
