Mary Kathlyn Brown

Mary K. Brown, 83, of OKC passed away June 6, 2010. Mary was born April 7, 1927 to Leonard and Frances (Huck) Brown. She graduated from St. Anthony's School of Nursing in 1951 as Sister Mary Rosella O.S.F. She then worked at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Hannibal, Mo. She left the order and worked at the hospital in Madill, OK, St. Anthony's Hospital, So. Community Hospital as Dir. Of Nursing for 12yrs, and then retired from McBride's Bone and Joint. Mary moved to St. Ann's Assisted Living Center in 2003. She was preceded in death by her father Leonard Brown, mother Frances Brown, stepmother Clara (Luedeman) Brown, brothers Leonard "Pat" Brown & Henry "Mike" Brown, sisters Clara "Joan" Hitt & Helen Hash. She is survived by sister, Esther Slaughter of Miami, AZ, nephew, Gary Pata & wife Susan of OKC, and godson, Michael Smith of OKC; relatives of OK, WY, NB, AZ, and TX, and friends, Kathy Luecke, Jeff Welch, Carol Wenzl, Sarah Bolenger, Julia Lee, Patsy Williams, Barbara and Theresa Nagel.
