Mary Laurice 'Reece' Atchley

Mary Laurice "Reece" Atchley passed away on September 29, 2014. She was born on February 5, 1930 in Kansas City, MO to John Joseph and Mary Agnes Gleason. Mary graduated from John Carroll High School on a Sunday then went to work the next day at the Federal Reserve Bank and retired from the Transit Department after more than 45 years. She was an avid cat lover and bowler. For many years Mary's staple Christmas gift for each of her nieces and nephews were slippers which they looked forward to getting each year. Mary is preceded in death by her parents, brothers Patrick, Tom and Mike along with one sister Joan Cowden. Mary is survived by her husband and best friend of 63 years, Ronnie, her sister Dolores Orr along with many loving nieces and nephews. A Graveside Service will be held at 10:00am Thursday, October 2nd at Rose Hill Burial Park.
