Mary Loretta Creegan was born February 4, 1920 in Oklahoma City to Edward Thomas Creegan and Rose Gorman Creegan and died peacefully on February 11, 2011. She lived her early years in Sapulpa, Oklahoma before moving to Oklahoma City. Mary cared for her mother, Rose Creegan until her death in 1978. Mary was a pioneer in the banking industry as a woman. She worked 40 years at Liberty National Bank, until her retirement as Vice-President in 1984. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, her older brother, Ted Creegan and younger sister, Betty Creegan Favor. She is survived by her nephews Bill Favor, Greg Favor, Tom Creegan and niece Carol Creegan Long. She is also survived by four great-nephews and one great niece.Mary will be remembered as a generous and kind hearted woman and an active and faithful member of St. Joseph's Old Cathedral her whole life. The family is grateful to Mary for her love and support in caring for her nephews and niece during their early years. She will especially be remembered as a faithful and loyal friend to many, and for her love and kindness to animals. We wish to express our thanks to Dr. Wendy Bray and the staff at Family Pet Hospital for their care of her beloved dog Prissy. We also wish to thank the nurses and entire staff of Bellevue Health Center for their care and compassion during the last two years of her life. We are grateful to the members of St. Joseph's who have been faithful and diligent in visiting her at Bellevue.
