Mary Louise Copeland, 85, went to be with our Lord and Savior on Saturday February 2nd, 2019. Mary was born to the late James Alexander Kemp and Nellie Mae (Wilkins) Kemp on April 14th 1933 in Hartford, Arkansas. Mary met Glenn Banks and they were married in 1953. Shortly after, Glenn and Mary moved to Oklahoma City while Glenn attended OCU School of Music. She was an amazing cook who is famously known for her potato salad and hello dollies. Mary was always prepared to whip up anything for last minute guests who stopped in for a visit. She worked for many years for the State of Oklahoma providing care for senior citizens. She also worked as a daycare teacher for pre-school aged children. Mary has spent the majority of her life caring for everyone around her. She always made sure that birthdays and holidays were a memorable occasion for family and friends alike. In times of need, anyone could rely on her for words of encouragement or a shoulder to cry on. Mary lived a full and wonderful life surrounded by her loving family and friends. She influenced many people with her kindness and giving nature and will be missed by all. Mary is preceded in death by her Father & Mother, husbands Glenn Banks and Donald Copeland, brothers Jimmy Kemp, Glen Kemp, and Karron Kemp. Mary is survived by her siblings Janice Dennett of Oklahoma City, OK, Larry Kemp of Borger, TX, Darlene Duncan of Picola, OK, and Laraine Brons of Borger, TX, children Glenda Onstott of Choctaw, OK, Dale Banks of Oklahoma City, OK, grandchildren Kristi Black, Alisha Banks, Allie Banks, great-grandchildren Ryan Banks, Lanie Banks, and Aria Womack. And great-great-grandchildren Bentley Banks, Riley Hollenbaugh, Elizabeth Hollenbaugh, and Amelia Banks. She is also so beloved by many nieces and nephews.
