Mary Louise Link was born on July 10, 1951 and passed away on March 11, 2013 at the age of 62 years. She is survived by her spouse, Jem Miller; brothers, John, Joe, and Frank and their wives; nieces and nephews, Eddie, Crystal, Matt, Rebecca and Lawrence; grand nieces and nephews; and her best friend of 43 years, Sherry Protus. Mary attended John Carroll Elementary and Bishop McGuinness High School. She held a degree in music from Oklahoma City University. She was a very enthusiastic and excellent piano teacher and will be sorely missed by her former students. In her professional life, Mary showed an unwavering dedication to her role as office manager for Link Painting. Her meticulous attention to every last detail, dependability and enthusiasm will be missed. Mary loved computers, photography, gardening, reading mystery novels and cooking. Like her mother, she worked the newspaper's crossword puzzle every day. Mary was incredibly committed to her family. She enjoyed archiving family history and maintaining traditions. When she died she was in the process of updating her families' childhood super 8 films to modern media. Additionally she put together a book of family recipes that she gave to family members for Christmas several years ago. In the words of her best friend Sherry, "No one could ask for a better friend than Mary. She was a kind, tenderhearted, loving soul, loyal and dedicated to her family and friends." A Celebration of her life will be held at 11am on Saturday, March 16, 2013 at Smith & Kernke N. May Chapel.
