Mason J. Andrew Mullings, beloved son, brother, father and Army Veteran, died on February 2, 2022 at his home in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Mason was born on September 1, 1978 to J. Mike and Teese Mullings, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He served with the U.S. Army in Operation Iraqi Freedom from 2003 to 2005, under the 4th Infantry Division. Mason was proud of his father, J. Mike, for founding the Oklahoma Veterans Memorial in Oklahoma City. He was passionate about the Memorial and therefore we would like any remembrance donations to be directed to oklahomaveteransmemorial.us. Mason was also an active volunteer and advocate for several military organizations. Prior to his military service, Mason graduated from Putnam City West High School in 1997. He was a accomplished athlete in football, baseball, wrestling and track throughout his high school years.Mason is survived by his children, Alexandria Mullings (20 years old) of Oklahoma City and Abigail Mullings (10 years old) of Germany; Mother, Teese Mullings, siblings, Myki Holmes, Mandy Haydon, Matt Mullings, and McClaine Mullings. He is preceded in death by his father, J. Mike, who passed in 2017. Mason was a loving and generous uncle to seven nephews, four nieces and one great-nephew. Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, February 9th at Smith and Kernke at 14624 N. May Avenue, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Burial services will be at 11 a.m. on Thursday, February 10th at Fort Sill National Cemetery at 2648 NE Jake Dunn Rd., Elgin, Oklahoma.When peace like a river attendeth my wayWhen sorrows like a sea billows roll Whatever my lot, Thou has taught me to sayIt is well, it is well with my soulIt is well, it is well with my soul
