Melba Lou Bond

Melba Lou Bond left this life to be with her heavenly Father November 21st. She was born in Prague, Oklahoma August 8, 1925. She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Anna Holman; two brothers, Louis and Fred; four sisters, Ida, Marie, Avis and Ann. She was also preceded in death by her sweetheart of 58 years, Orval Bond. She is survived by two daughters, Donna and husband Robert and Lou Ann Tuter and husband David; five grandsons, Ron Greve and his wife Stephania of Mt. Kisco, NY, Bob Greve and his wife Liza of Edmond, Brian Greve of Oklahoma City, Ryan Tuter and his wife Alicia of Piedmont, and Brad Tuter of Oklahoma City. She is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren, Will and Sophia Greve, Alex Greve, Gabe, Michael, Roman, Cruz, Vivian, Ellie and Bella Greve; Addison, Blake and Dylan Tuter. She is survived by one sister, Norma, and many nieces and nephews and countless friends. She considered two very special friends, Dennis and Carol Jackson, as a part of her family. She was a member of Westside Christian Church and was a very strong, devout Christian. She loved the Lord and her church where she worshiped with so many good friends. She loved her family "to the moon and back" and that love was mutual. She touched many lives in her 93 years and will be missed by so many. Mom, or Mimi, as much as we will miss you, we know you are at peace in your heavenly home and we will see you again. Visitation will be Monday, November 26th from noon to 7:00 pm at the funeral home with the family present to greet friends from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Services to celebrate Melba will be 2:00 pm Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at Westside Christian Church.
