Melissa Jean Morris

Melissa Jean Munro Morris was born on December 25,1977 in Oklahoma City. It is fitting that Melissa shared a birthday with Jesus based on her loving, caring and forgiving nature. Melissa didn't like it much when she was young, but grew to realize what an honor it was. On January 20, 2020 we lost the sweetest and most loving daughter, sister, cousin, aunt, wife and friend. Melissa will be welcomed into heaven by family members and the many pets she loved that have gone on before her. Melissa is survived by her husband, David Morris; her parents, Mike & Kathleen Ledbetter, her sister, Michelle Anderson and her husband Justin and sons, Keller and Kaleb who were the light of her life, and her brother, Brian Ledbetter and his wife Che' and daughter, Juliet. Melissa is survived by a multitude of loving aunts, uncles and cousins as well. The loss of Melissa is felt by so many not listed, but no one is out of mind and all are in our hearts. Melissa never knew a stranger and because of that we invite those of you that know her to join us in celebrating her life. We welcome everyone to share stories of how she touched your life through a laugh, a smile, a shoulder to cry on, a crazy story, we hope to hear them all.
