Merced Arthur Martinez Jr.

Beloved Husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather, Merced "Arthur" Martinez passed away the morning of November 21, 2019. He was 63 years of age. Arthur was preceded in death by his beloved daughter Valorie Martinez and his mother Betty Lou Martinez. Arthur is survived by many of his adoring family. His devoted wife of 46 years, Stephana Martinez, his daughter Angel Martinez, and son Anthony Lee Martinez. Grandkids, Alexia Aguilera, Brandon Martinez, Austin Bond, Anissa Martinez, and Benito Bustos. And three great grand kids. He was survived by his dad, Merced Arthur Martinez, Sr. His sisters, Nova Sue Hartsook, Linda Martinez, and Georgia Annette Goodwin. Also, several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.Arthur was born on November 8, 1956 in Ft. Worth, TX. He moved to Oklahoma City when he was still a child. He met Stephana at a young age and was married at 16 to the love of his life. He joined the Navy, which took him and his family too many locations throughout his 22-year Naval career. His two loves in life were his family and the sea. And of course, his surviving dog, Coco. He retired from the Navy, March 31, 1995, after 22 years of service. He soon started his own Private investigative agency, with his wife Stephana.Arthur was a funny, loving, mischievous, and caring man. He loved his family more than anything in the world.
