Michael Gerard Maupin

Michael Gerard Maupin, 62, died November 15, 2020 peacefully at his home of natural causes. Michael was born to Mary Ann and John Maupin in Oklahoma City on August 26, 1958. Part of a loud, boisterous family, Michael was the quiet, gentle, humorous one of six children. His lifelong career was in landscaping and carpentry with his brother Charles Maupin. Michael was a gifted piano player and artist. He loved the outdoors - bicycling, working out, the feel of the sunshine on his face and the ocean at his feet. His biggest joy in life was vacations with family and friends at the beach. His love for sun and sand took him to Florida, Hawaii and the Bahamas.Dedicated and loyal to family, he was the primary caregiver for his aging parents, giving them the joy of living their entire life in their own home. Michael was preceded in death by his parents Mary Ann and John Maupin, and his sister Anne Borucki. He is survived by his brothers Charles, Andy, Chris, brother-in-law Robert Borucki and his sister Celeste.A celebration of life will be forthcoming.
