Michael "Mickey" Wehba was born in Webb City, OK on March 10, 1931 to Jack and Agnes "Toots" Wehba. When he was six months old, the family moved to Oklahoma City where Mickey attended school, graduating from Central High in 1951. He was very outgoing and made long-lasting friendships.
While attending a Lebanese convention, he met Clem Thomas of Vicksburg, Mississippi. They had a long-distance romance, culminating in marriage in October of 1958. He and Clem established a home in Oklahoma City where Mickey owned and operated Wehba's OK Market, having started in the grocery business at a young age working in his father's store.
Mickey had a beautiful voice and graced many family and other weddings by singing for them. He was an active member of St. Elijah Orthodox Church, and put his beautiful voice to use by taking part in the church service as chanter for many years. This was a very important and meaningful part of his life.
He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents; brothers Kay and Tenal; his son, Michael; his daughter, Melissa (Missy) and his beloved wife Clem. He is survived by Cassady Wehba, Michael's daughter; his son John and his wife Simone and their children Lucy, Hannah and Ben; son-in-law Tim Hedges and his and Missy's children Annabelle and Jane; his sister Jacque Massad, brother Dennis Wehba and his wife Sue and numerous nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
