Michael Ray "Mike" Overby

Mike was part of a military family, born in Tokyo, Japan, he grew up in Midwest City, Oklahoma, and went to MWC high school. Mike worked hard all his life and was a superintendent of a large construction company. He married the love of his life Elizabeth in 1998. He loved going on last minute trips, especially to the beach, he loved watching football with his wife, he loved family game nights, PLAYING GOLF with his buddies, playing horseshoes, skiing, rafting, grilling, playing chuck-o, poker, reading books (lots of books) and his daily newspaper. He never met a stranger, he would strike up a conversation with anyone, especially when walking the dogs through the neighborhood. He is survived by and will be deeply missed by his wife Elizabeth. He was a wonderful Dad to Emily, Liz, Ginny, Anjanette, and Suzanne. He was Pa or Papa to his grand and great-grandchildren, Jessica, Scotty, Skylar, Samuel, Tabitha, Abbegail, Blessin, Emery, and Ari. He was blessed to have his brother Steve, wife, Cecilia, sister Della and her husband "Big Mike" by his side; he was a great Uncle, and friend to many. He was preceded in death by his father Leonard, mother Hope, and brother Doug.The family will celebrate Mike with private services.
