Michael Shawn Mclaughlin

Michael Shawn McLaughlin, 37, of Edmond, loving father, husband, son, grandson and brother passed away on Saturday, December 12, 2009. Shawn was born December 23, 1971 in Tulsa. He graduated from Bishop Kelley High School in 1990. He received his B.S. from Oklahoma State University in 1995, where he was a member of Phi Delta Theta Fraternity. He met his wife of 13 years, Holly, while attending OSU. They were married on June 8, 1996, in OKC In 1999 he earned his CPA accreditation and in 2007 received his MBA from Oklahoma City University. Shawn was an active member of St. Eugene Catholic Church and School, where he was a member of the Knights of Columbus and the CSSE Dad's Club and Athletic Commission. He is survived by his wife Holly, son Braeden, 9, daughter Maddie, 5, his Mother, Patti Blair, Grandmother Tawana Daniels, one brother Jason McLaughlin and one sister, Danielle Montgomery all of Tulsa. He is also survived by many loved aunts, uncles, cousins and nephews. Shawn was preceded in death by his grandfather, Bill Daniels and uncle, Steve Daniels.
