Mitchell Dee Martin

Mitchell Martin was born November 5, 1956 in Tulsa, OK and passed away from this life on December 19, 2013. The meaning of Mitchell is "gift of God" and he was a wonderful gift to his family. He was the middle child of John and Shirley Martin, with older sister Lynnda and younger sister Rita. During his school years he was a great athlete, participating on his high school football team and wrestling teams and a variety of little league softball teams. He was briefly married at a young age, but as with many young marriages it didn't last and they separated. Several years later he married Patricia Winemiller and they quickly welcomed the first of four children, Rita Jo. Over the next few years his family grew with the additions of son, Jonathan and daughters Mary and Lynnda. He cherished his children and they were a great joy to him. Perhaps the only thing as valued as his children is his four grandchildren, Alison Geer, Brian Martin, Leah Geer, and Autumn Freeman. Mitchell worked for many years at Mollman Water Conditioning and was a valued employee who will be missed. He is survived by all of his children and grandchildren, his mother, sisters and nephew, Drake Kasparek. Mitchell, we will always cherish your memory in our hearts.
