Nancy Hotchkiss Morton

Wrapped in the arms of Jesus, Nancy Hotchkiss Morton passed away on December 29, 2012. Nancy fought a courageous 3 year battle against breast cancer. Her family wishes to thank the many doctors, nurses and special care givers who provided the greatest of assistance, compassion, and love during Nancy's long fought ordeal. The family would like to especially thank Physicians Choice Hospice who provided such great comfort and care during her final days. Dance was Nancy's passion, but it was her family, friends and her dogs that were her true love. During her life Nancy worked for Kennard's Food Market, United Parcel Service, University of Central Oklahoma and Pacer Health and Fitness Center. A 1970 graduate of Putnam City High School, a 1974 graduate of Oklahoma State University and 1976 graduate of Central State. Nancy loved all of her schools, but it was cowboy orange that she wore throughout her life. Nancy is preceded in death by her father Harvey Hotchkiss. She is survived by her mother Polly, husband of 40 years David, son Zachary, daughter Melissa, daughter-in-law Elisabeth, son-in-law Anderson, sister Patti and brother-in-law Robert. Nancy loved all of her family and friends but it was her granddaughter Lilly Morton that was the light of her life. In lieu of flowers remembrances can be made to, ARF (Animal Rescue Friends) and/or Bishop McGuinness Catholic High School Dance program. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Monica's Catholic Church at 10am, Wednesday January 2nd, followed by interment at Memorial Park Cemetery.
