Playing the piano, working puzzles, singing in her church choir, shopping and playing games with her family and friends were some of Nancy Lee Cromwell's favorite activities. She made her debut into the world on August 18th, 1931 in Ponca City along with her twin brother, Carlton Leverich, to Lawrence and Moya Leverich. The family permanently moved to Oklahoma City within a year where the twins attended Culbertson Heights Elementary School, Webster Junior High and Northeast High School.After high school, Nancy studied voice at Oklahoma City University where she joined the Gamma Phi Beta Sorority. While music continued to be a lifelong passion, Nancy decided to study science at Central State College. This is where she met her husband, Chester Cromwell. They were married on November 22nd, 1951 and began their family which eventually included three children. A life long Presbyterian, Nancy called First Presbyterian of OKC her church home.Nancy was happiest when her family was together. She and her twin brother lived five houses from each other until his death five years ago. Never one to give a straight answer, when asked "How are you?" her reply was always, "I'm perfect."Nancy quietly left the world on February 6th, 2020. She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Chester Cromwell, son, Charles Cromwell, daughters, Carol Moorad (and husband Richard), Lisa Cochrane (and husband John), granddaughters, Noelle Moorad and Holly Moorad and grandson, Robert Cochrane. In death she is reunited with her parents and twin brother who she has missed dearly.
