Nina Gill

Nina Penn Gill was born on February 20, 1931 in Oklahoma City. She passed away on November 29, 2012. Nina graduated from St. Joseph High's School in Oklahoma City and attended St. Mary of the Woods University where she obtained a degree in Sociology. Peter and Nina were married in 1955 and remained married until the time of her death. She deeply loved her family, friends and church. She enjoyed weaving, attending the symphony, and had a great appreciation for the fine arts. Her parents were Raymond and Josephine Penn of Oklahoma City. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Peter Deane Gill; her sister Rosemary Jones of Belhaven, NC; her sons Pete Gill of Highlands Ranch, CO and his wife Carol, Ray Gill of Enid, OK, his wife Amber and their daughter Cheyenne, and Jim Gill of Morrison, CO, his wife Katie and their son Logan. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Christ the King Catholic Church in Nichols Hills on Wednesday, December 5th, at noon. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park.
