Norma Tinkham Davis, born on Aug. 18, 1936, in Dallas, TX, passed away on May 24, 2020, Oklahoma City, OK. She grew up in Oklahoma City and graduated from Capitol Hill High School in 1954. She married Daniel Tinkham on February 4, 1956 and moved to Hesperia, Michigan. She worked for Gerber Baby Foods and had 4 children. They moved their family back to Oklahoma City in 1961 and had two more children. In 1975, they moved to Blanchard, OK where she worked for Head Start driving a bus and then for Blanchard Schools as a teacher's aide. She eventually went to work for FAA. After being widowed in 1988, she met Ross Davis whom she married in late 1989. Following her retirement from FAA in 2002, she worked for Villa Teresa and Ronald McDonald's house. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Margaret Villa; first husband, Daniel Tinkham; son, Paul Tinkham; sisters, Margy Weyandt and Linda Villa; brothers-in-law Ray Weyandt, Frank Romero and Tiller Wesley. She is survived by her husband, Ross Davis; her children, Terri Hargis (Paul), daughter-in-law, Barbara Tinkham (Paul), Dannette Ewers (Rob), Kelly Tinkham (Nicki), Cindy Tinkham (Brenda) and Daniel Tinkham; sisters, Alma Romero, Ann Allen (Joe), Frankie Coleman (Doug); and brother, Frank Villa; 13 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and her precious dog, Rosie. She enjoyed many things, including bingo, going to casinos, taking Spanish classes, family gatherings, playing games, and excursions with her daughter, Cindy, along with traveling partners, Brenda and Bonnie Webb. Not known for patience, she often only read the first chapters and last two pages of books.  Family would like to acknowledge and thank the special people who took care of her from Frontier Hospice especially her aide, Natalie, and her two private caregivers, Michelle and Sharon. Funeral mass will be held at St. Francis Catholic Church on Thursday, May 28 at 10:00 AM followed by burial at Resthaven. In lieu of flowers, family requests donations in her name to Aging Services Respite Voucher Program or St. Vincent de Paul at stfrancisokc.weshareonline.org.
