Nova Mary Meek

Nova Mary Hall Meek, 88, of Oklahoma City, OK died March 16, 2010. Nova was born in Oklahoma City on October 21, 1921 to Cleveland Hall Sr. and Effie Merle (Jones) Hall. She graduated from Classen High School in 1939. She attended Oklahoma State University (then Oklahoma A & M) from 1939-1941. She worked at Warner Brothers for a number of years. She loved sewing, cooking, gardening and spending time at Lake Tenkiller with her family sailing and boating and spending time with her dog Sheppie and her cat Scampie. She was a devoted mother and her granddaughters were the love of her life. She is preceded in death by her husband, of 33 years, Dean Carl Meek, parents Cleveland and Effie Merle Hall, and brothers William Jackson Hall Sr. and Cleveland Hall Jr. She is survived by her daughter Patricia Ann (Meek) Lucht and husband Neil Walter Lucht and granddaughters Lauren Christina Lucht and Alexandra Elizabeth Lucht of Oklahoma City, OK; sister, Esther Merle Hall Hebert of Burbank CA; aunt and best friend Lillian Nolen Traylor of Edmond, OK; nephew and wife, Dr. Harry and Julie Traylor of Edmond, OK; nieces Janet Dee Cuthbertson Clements of Sun Valley, CA, Jacqueline Hall Marron of Oklahoma City, Debra Hall Haggerman of Rosco, TX; great niece Adelee Elizabeth Traylor of Edmond, OK; nephew William Jackson Hall Jr., and great nephew Nolen Stewart Traylor of Edmond, OK, and extended family in Oklahoma and Kansas.
