Orinda M. Desper

Orinda M. Desper, 69, of Oklahoma City, passed away May 26, 2014. She was born January 5, 1945 in Bakersfield, California. Orinda graduated from Capitol Hill High School in 1963 and from OU in 1972. She was a member of the Highwaymen Toastmasters and enjoyed traveling, photography, writing and a nice glass of wine. Orinda retired from DHS in 2001. She was preceded in death by her mother, Maxine L. Adams and is survived by her husband, Johnny M. Desper and daughter, Deborah Marler. Those wishing to honor Orinda may do so by contributing to either the American Cancer Society or the OKC Humane Society. Memorial Services will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, May 30, 2014 at the Smith & Kernke 23rd Street Chapel.
