Pamela Renee Campbell

Pamela Renee Campbell passed peacefully from this Earth on October 26, 2023. Pam was born September 8, 1960 in Waurika, OK to Loyd “Bud” and LaDell Blackburn Bridges. Growing up she and her family moved frequently and she attended many schools. During her freshman year of high school, her family settled in Vici, OK; this is where she met her soulmate and graduated high school with the class of 1978. She married the love of her life, Johnnie Campbell, on November 17, 1978. John and Pam made a life together in Enid, OK. Starting at what was supposed to be a temporary position, Pam dedicated her career to Southwestern Bell and ATandT telephone companies for 40 years. During her career, she made many lifelong friends while working in the business office, engineering department and serving the Communication Workers of America Union.

Pam is survived by two daughters, Kristen Dittmeyer (son-in-law Kale) and Casey Hultman (son-in-law James); two treasured grandsons, Kade and Knox Dittmeyer; two brothers, Loyd Bridges and Clay Bridges; one sister, Cindy Day; numerous sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews; she is also lovingly survived by the Morey and Harper families, whom have always been more like family than friends.

Pam is preceded in death by her parents; numerous loved ones that she deeply cherished; and by her loving husband, John. Knowing that John and Pam are reunited for eternity brings their family and friends great peace and joy. “Jesus said to her, ‘I am the resurrection and the life. Those who believe in me, even though they die, will live, and everyone who lives and believes in me will never die.’” -John 11:25-26

There will be a private family ceremony to celebrate the life of Pam, at a later date. Condolences for the family and memories of Pam may be made to an online guestbook at Smith and Kernke Funeral Home, SmithandKernke.com. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the American Cancer Society.
