Pamela Kay Snellings passed away peacefully on Friday, November 8, 2024 during a brief stay at Integris Hospice. Pam battled significant health challenges for the past decade of her life.
Pamela was born on February 13, 1962 in Okarche, Oklahoma to Thomas Edward Determan and Elizabeth Jane Determan. Pam attended Putnam City Schools and Saint Charles Borromeo Church. She graduated high school in 1980.
Dale Rogers Training Center in Oklahoma City assisted Pam in obtaining numerous jobs in her early adult years. She worked at Queen Ann's Cafeteria, Quik Copy, Deaconess Hospital, T.J. Maxx, and Sears. Pam also enjoyed working periodically at the family business, Determan Scheirman Engineering.
Pamela married Todd Allen Snellings on September 17, 1994. She and Todd just celebrated 30 years of marriage.
Pam enjoyed crafts, especially needlework and won several notable ribbons from the Oklahoma State Fair over the years. One of her most enjoyable activities was playing Bingo at Sportsman's Country Club and eventually at Windsor Hills Nursing Center. Pam's favorite things included shopping, gift giving, teddy bears, the color pink, taking care of her tropical fish, playing games on her iPad, and drinking unsweetened iced tea with chocolate chip cookies.
Pam is preceded in death by her sister Teresa and her father Thomas but leaves behind a loving family that will forever cherish her memory.
She is survived by her husband Todd, mother Jane, two sisters Vicki Weissenborn (husband Paul), Mary Baker (husband Phillip Ethan), and one brother Brian Determan (wife Jessica) and several nieces and nephews: Matthew Weissenborn, Amy Weissenborn Gorter (husband Jake), great niece Ava, Noah Baker, Nathan Baker, Ben Determan, and Scarlett Determan.
The family would like to express their gratitude to the kind residents and caring staff at Windsor Hills Nursing Center for the last eight years of Pam’s life.
