Pamela Sue Neville

Born in Tulsa, OK, on November 30, 1950, she was the first daughter of James and Beverly Wadley, grand-daughter of Robert and Ruby Potenza and Arthur and Jewel Wadley. After many years of severe illness she died suddenly on March 6, 2014. Known as Pam to most, her life was centered around family, church and teaching while maintaining her lifelong support of Oklahoma State University. Pam graduated from Tulsa Memorial High School in 1969 and earned a B.S. Degree in Home Economics from OSU in 1974. She was an active member of Delta Zeta sorority as a collegiate and alumnus. She married James D. Neville on July 20, 1974. Pam's work experience included Luther School System, Canterbury Retirement Community, Director of Christian Education at All Souls and St. Augustines Episcopal churches. She worked at the Oklahoma City National Memorial during its early years of development as the Educational Director of programs and exhibits. She had a love for teaching and her students ranged from pre-school through the elderly. She was a member of the Oklahoma City Junior League and was actively involved in the Episcopal Diocese of Oklahoma Christian education. Pam is survived by her husband Jim, and son Rob Neville, daughter Katie Neville Ahrens and her husband Seth Ahrens and grandsons John and James Ahrens; sisters Jill Webb and Penni Ivy and their families. A service to celebrate Pam's life will be held on Tuesday, March 11 at 2:00pm at St. John's Episcopal Church of Oklahoma City. Viewing will be Monday, March 10th from noon to 6pm at the funeral home.
