Patricia Louise Casteel

Patricia Louise Johnson Casteel, 71, passed away peacefully January 31, 2017. She was born July 31, 1945, in Bronxville, New York to Jean and Vincent Johnson. Patricia moved to Oklahoma City at the young age of 3 and graduated from Harding High School. She went on to study at OSU. She married the love of her life, Len Casteel on November 2, 1984. Patty owned and operated Johnson Marketing Research for many years. Patty was passionate at everything she did, she was known for being a "tireless volunteer" in her community. She always volunteered to help with Mobile Meals, Sunbeam Family Services, Oklahoma Hospitality, and Ladies in the News. She was also involved in several "Lunch Bunch" groups including a monthly girls-night out with high school friends. She loved to cook, but one of her favorite things to do was to relax on the beach in South Padre Island. Patty was always known for hosting her annual Epiphany party. She had many true friends and was a true friend to many. She was selfless with her time and was always eager to help others. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Bobbie Lindsey. She is survived by her loving husband of 32 years, Len Casteel of Oklahoma City; son Matt and daughter Diane Casteel; grandchildren Jaxon and Jacob; niece Allison Kidney; nephew Tim Lindsey and their families. A celebration of Patty's life will be held at All Soul's Episcopal Church, Tuesday, February 7th, at 2pm. There will be a reception at the church following the service. In lieu of flowers, the family request you to make donations to Sunbeam Family Services, 1100 NW 14th St, Oklahoma City, OK 73106.
