Patricia Marie Hamilton Rowton

Patricia Marie Hamilton Rowton, 65, died February 9, 2017, following a sudden illness. She is the sister of Jude Ann Hamilton and sister-in-law of Janie Pierce and husband Charles. She was preceded in death by her parents, William Miles and Dorothy Wilkinson Hamilton, her beloved husband of 38 years, Jack D. Rowton, Jr., her much loved father-in-law, Jack D. Rowton, Sr.; mother-in-law, Jean Stockwell; and two sisters-in-law, Jeri Imke and Vickie Stroud. In addition to her sister and sister-in-law, she is survived by her Uncle Kenneth A. Nash and Aunt Ruth Wilkinson; many first cousins and their families as well as numerous nieces and nephews and their families. Pat was a graduate of John Marshall High School Class of 1970 and continued to support the class' activities. She worked at Walmart, retiring after more than 25 years of service. She was an avid OU football fan. She had hundreds of friends, and was very kind and generous. She enjoyed cooking the Rowton family recipes and entertaining. Pat was devoted to Jack and their friends. She was an avid reader and enjoyed watching reality TV shows. She loved her pets and caring for her home. Service will be Tuesday, February 14, 2017, at 1 pm at Smith & Kernke May Chapel.
