Patricia Monsour Eddie

Patricia Joy Monsour Eddie passed peacefully from this life on Saturday, March 16, 2013. She was born April 15, 1930 in Oklahoma City, the daughter of Victoria and Fred Monsour. Patricia attended Classen High School and graduated from Oklahoma City University with a BS degree in Business. She was a lifetime member of St. Elijah Orthodox Christian Church and a member of the Bonne Heure Club. Patricia's greatest love was spending time with her family, whether at home or Grand Lake. She is preceded in death by her loving husband Gene Eddie, her beautiful daughter, Patti Jean Swedlund, her parents Victoria and Fred Monsour, and her brother Fred Monsour, Jr. Patricia is survived by daughters Betty Kay Karim, Tammy Carpenter, and Vicki Shadid and husband Frank; her devoted brother Johnny Monsour and wife Margaret; and the blessings of ten grandchildren: Lauren, Anna and Kristina Karim; Jessica, Eddie and Meredith Swedlund; Katie and Kelly Carpenter; and Shane, Blake and Jeff Shadid, as well as her great-grandchild Hayden. She is also survived by her loving sisters-in-law and many nieces and nephews. The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to her wonderful doctors and staff of Integris Baptist Medical Center and to the Very Reverend Father John S. Salem.
