Patricia "Pat" Jones

Patricia Estelle "Pat" Jones, 80, died Monday May 2, 2016. Born on October 11, 1935 in Hartshorne, Oklahoma to Louise Harbison Trueblood and George Trueblood, she graduated from Little Rock High School and attended The University of Oklahoma from 1952 -1956. In 1960, Pat married James Richard Jones Jr. Together they lived in Oklahoma City, New Jersey, Edmond and Tulsa, Oklahoma. After raising their two children, Pat worked for years as a realtor and broker for Abide Realtors in Edmond where she received numerous awards for sales and human relations. She was a kind and thoughtful woman who truly believed that each day was a gift. She is preceded in death by both of her parents and husband, Dick Jones. She is survived by her sisters Norma Campbell of Little Rock, Arkansas and Linda McGinnis of Tulsa, Oklahoma, their spouses and children. Her daughter Karen Mannix, husband Michael and their children Emily Mannix Roberts, Madeline Bentley and Matthew Mannix of Oklahoma City, her son, Thomas "TJ" Jones and his partner David McPherson of Williamsburg, VA, extended family and many loving friends. Many thanks from the family to all of the caregivers and physicians at McBride Hospital, Epworth Villa, Norman Regional Healthplex and Hospice House. Services to celebrate her life will be held at 3:00pm, Saturday, May 7, 2016 at the Smith and Kernke Funeral Home, 14624 N. May Ave., Oklahoma City, OK 73134. In lieu of flowers, feel free to donate to the charity of your choosing.
