Paul entered into his Father's Home on May 16, 2011. He was born on December 12, 1933 to Arthur and Felicite Churchman in Kansas City, MO. He was a proud member of the Salish/Kootenai Tribes in Montana. Paul's earlier life was spent in Montana and Iowa and later as a student of Mt. St. Mary's H.S. He always remembered his friends and his basketball and football days. Due to childhood illness and bad eyesight Paul was held back in school. On graduation day he was 20 years old. So with diploma in hand he was greeted by Uncle Sam and sent to Ft. Bliss, TX. He enjoyed his military service as a medic, especially time in Germany and Letterman's Hospital in San Francisco, CA. Paul was a graduate of Central State College. Special thanks to friends Al, Joe and Vince for your care and support for Paul. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Charles, Art and Ed. Survived by "baby" sister Helen (Jerry) Prilliman, sisters-in-laws Jan and Margaret, and numerous nieces and nephews. Donations in Paul's memory may be made to Mt. St. Mary's Scholarship Fund. Visitation will be Thursday May 19, 2011 at Smith Kernke Funeral Home 23rd from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday at Ft. Sill National Cemetery, Elgin, OK.
