Paul Vernon Bean

Paul Vernon "Pops" Bean, 52, resident of The Village, went to be with his LORD and Savior on Dec. 30, 2014, in Oklahoma City. He was born August 29, 1962, in Oklahoma City, the son of Jay and Mildred Bean. He enjoyed working with his hands and building things. He had a great love for his God and his family. He was married on September 24, 1988, to Rita Scalf. Paul worked at Governair/Temtrol for over 30 years. He was also the children's pastor at Calvary Temple for over six years. He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Rita; four children, Rachel, Gabrielle, Erin, and Kaiden Bean; sister, Linda Vogt and brother, Ronald Bivens. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Leona Smith, parents, sisters, Sandra Butler and Carol Perkins and brother, Robert Bivens and his wife Judy. Funeral services will be Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2015 at 2 p.m. at Calvary Temple, 1801 S. Kelly Ave., Edmond. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
