Peggy Lynn Wilson passed away April 17, 2011 in Oklahoma City. She was born June 2, 1925 in Wynnewood, OK to Courtland and Willie Lee Taylor. They moved to Sentinel where Peggy met her high school sweetheart, Jode Wilson. She married Jode on December 16, 1945, and became a devoted Army wife. They traveled and lived in a variety of locations including Germany. Peggy loved being a military wife and was very active in military socials, including playing bridge. She also served as president of the Officers' Wives Club for three years. Her faithful support helped Jode attain numerous awards and the rank of Major General. She was preceded in death by her husband in May 2009; brother, Col. James Taylor and sister, Fleeta Marie Clark. She is survived by her sister, Linda Celsor of Sentinel, OK; three daughters, Judy Lynn Froemming and husband Jerry of Justin, TX, Jane Susan Draper and husband Robert of Hot Springs, AR, and JoDe Ann Char and husband Dennis of Grapevine, TX; grandchildren, Jode Colbert Wells of Justin, TX and Taylor Wilson of Southlake, TX, currently attending the University of Oklahoma; and a great-grandson, Rhett Wells.
