Pete Miner

Pete Miner unexpectedly and peacefully passed away on Saturday, August 23, 2014. Pete was born in Evansville, Indiana on November 13, 1955 to Richard and Betty Miner. Pete grew up in the Oklahoma City area and attended John Marshall High School and Northeast High School graduating in 1974. Pete was a avid sailor enjoying many hours on Lake Hefner and Lake Texoma. Pete owned and operated his own oil and gas brokerage company for many years, Sail Energy. He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Miner. He is survived by his one true love, Dawn Neu-Miner. Pete is survived by his mother, Betty Miner; his siblings, Rob Miner, Jacki Earls and Diana Coffman as well as nephews Blaine and Brett Coffman and Jordan Earls. He is also survived by a step-daughter, Jennifer Beer and her family Rodd, Baylee and Braeden. Pete recently became a proud "Poppy" to their precious little puppy, Barney. Pete was very humorous and well known for his "Peteisms." Peace be with you. A memorial service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 27th at Smith & Kernke Chapel.
