Peter B. Kiplinger was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to Delmore McClure Kiplinger (Dan) and Evelyn Anne Barnes Kiplinger on November 14, 1933. The family settled in Oklahoma City when Pete was a young child. He graduated from Classen High School in 1952 then served in the U.S. Army in 1954-1956 during the occupation of Berlin, Germany. Upon returning from Germany, he worked at First National Bank while attending business school at Oklahoma City University and graduating in 1963. Pete spent over forty years in personnel and operations at various Oklahoma banks. Pete is survived by his wife Donna, of the home and his sons Daniel H. Kiplinger and Prescott E. Kiplinger, both of Oklahoma City. He also is survived by one granddaughter, Christine Kiplinger Liebscher of Berlin, Germany. He is predeceased by his parents and his sister, Dana Underwood.
