Phac Van Nguyen, 80, of Oklahoma City, passed in peace on Thursday, July 11, 2019, at his home in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. on Monday, July 15, at Smith & Kernke 23rd street chapel. Phac was born on April 8, 1939 in Saigon, Vietnam, where he spent much of his life. He served in the Army of the Republic of Vietnam from 1957-1975, leaving with the rank of captain. He married Phuoc Nguyen in 1965 and worked as an antique salesman up until he moved with his family to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, in 1993. There, he worked as an assembly line worker for Unit Parts Company. He was of Buddhist faith.Survivors include his wife, Phuoc Nguyen, three daughters, three sons-in-law, two sons, and two daughters-in-law: Dao and Polo Nguyen, Oklahoma; Nguyen Nguyen and Manh Dinh Vo, Oklahoma City; Ngoc Nguyen and Larry Newport, Oklahoma; Phong Nguyen and Thanh Thuy Tran, Oklahoma City, OK; Sam Nguyen and Tiffany Thuy Tran, Grand Prairie, TX. Survivors also include six granddaughters: Ngoc Han, Thai Binh, Tina, Kaitlyn (Thanh Truc), Krystal (Bao Tran), and Sophia.
