Phillip Dwane "Phil" Meier

Phil D. Meier, 71, of Oklahoma City, OK passed peacefully into the arms of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on December 2, 2022. He was born on June 30, 1951 to Windell and Agnes Meier of OKC. Phil married the love of his life, Judy, on May 25, 1973, and they were the parents of two children: Phillip Meier, Jr. and wife, Laura of Edmond and Abby Buchanan and husband, Chase of OKC. He was blessed with four wonderful grandchildren: Laila and Evelyn Meier and Hudson and Olivia Buchanan. He is also survived by his brother, David Brenneis and wife, Liz; sister, Linda Rother; and sister, Susan Harrison and husband, David; including numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins, as well as countless friends. Phil graduated from OSU with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting in 1973. He enjoyed owning his own business, where he was not only a CPA, he was a friend to his clients. He was proud that his son followed in his footsteps.Phil's life was a reflection of the Lord. He always had a song in his heart, a twinkle in his eye and a smile. He was a devoted family man and supportive of his church. He taught children's Sunday school classes for many years and served in numerous other areas.
