Phuoc Thi Nguyen

Phuoc Thi Nguyen, 80, of Oklahoma City, passed in peace on Tuesday, April 26, 2022. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, April 29, at Smith & Kernke 23rd Street Chapel. Phuoc was born on July 20, 1941 in Saigon, Vietnam, where she spent much of her life. She married Phac Nguyen in 1965, became a mother to three daughters and two sons, and was a social worker up until she moved with her family to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, in 1993. There, she worked as an assembly line worker alongside her husband at Unit Parts Company until retirement. She was of Buddhist faith and a member of Giác Quang Temple. Supporting and sacrificing for her children and grandchildren was her primary passion in life. Survivors include three daughters, three sons-in-law, two sons, and two daughters-in-law: Dao and Phuc Nguyen; Ngoc Nguyen and Larry Newport; Nguyen Nguyen and Manh Dinh Vo; Phong Nguyen and Thanh Thuy Tran; Hoang Nguyen and Tiffany Thuy Tran. Survivors also include six granddaughters: Ngoc Han, Thai Binh, Tina, Kaitlyn (Thanh Truc), Krystal (Bao Tran), and Sophia. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
