Ramon Sanchez

Ramon Sanchez was born to Guadalupe and Ilaria Sanchez on August 26, 1946, in Coahuila, Mexico. He was raised in Tlacuitapa, Jalisco where he met and married the love of his life, Gerarda in 1964. They had their first of 8 children in 1969. Martin Sanchez, Maria Del Rosio Sanchez, Laura Sanchez, Ramon Sanchez, Guadalupe Sanchez, Mariela Sanchez, Leonardo Brian Sanchez, and Christopher Gabriel Sanchez. Together Ramon and Gerarda have 23 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Ramon moved to the United States in 1978 and worked as a construction worker for many years. During this time, he had the opportunity to work alongside many of his children. Ramon was a dedicated and hard worker. In his later years he loved carpentry and making trinkets and mailboxes for his loved ones. Ramon loved to give his family nick names like Guachi, Cara Sucia, and Penguino to name a few. He usually had a funny story to tell behind each name. Ramon will be missed deeply by his family and friends. Ramon was preceded in death by his father- Guadalupe, mother- Ilaria, and Daughter, Laura Sanchez. His surviving children Martin, Rosio, Ramon, Guadalupe, Mariela, Leonardo, Christopher, and his siblings, María de la Paz Sanchez and Emilio Sanchez Gonzalez.
