Randal Wayne Hancock, 89, of Yukon, entered Heaven's gate on Saturday, April 20, 2019, surrounded by his loving family. He was born November 9, 1929, to George and Mae Hancock and was the youngest of twelve children. He attended Carnegie Public Schools and graduated in May of 1947. He then boarded a train to Stillwater, Oklahoma, with a small suitcase and a letter of recommendation, got a job, found a place to live and became the first member of his family to graduate from college. While he was at Oklahoma State University, he was a member of Alpha Gamma Rho fraternity and served as Vice Noble Ruler. After graduation, he joined the Navy and proudly served his country during the Korean conflict. During college, Randal met Juanita Bell Pittman and they were married on June 28,1953. After being honorably discharged from the Navy, he started his teaching career as the Vocational Agriculture teacher in Hooker, Oklahoma. He then moved to Clinton, Oklahoma as the vo-ag instructor and spent many years raising a beautiful family and making many lifelong friends. He ultimately left teaching to join Sentry Insurance and, after a long and productive career of serving customers, he retired to the farm and his rental business. Randal enjoyed farming, running cattle, and put together a wheat, alfalfa, and cattle operation in Clinton and Cordell, which was his passion that he loved to share with his sons-in-law. Randal and Juanita's pride was their family. Any gathering they had, no one ever left hungry. He loved the outdoors and was quick to take grandchildren hunting, fishing, or horseback riding. He enjoyed educating them, but mainly wanted to spend time with them. He loved his sons-in-law as his own and enjoyed sharing wisdom with them as well.
Randal's surviving family includes his wife of 65 years, Juanita.
