Ranh Thi Nguyen

Ranh Thi Nguyen passed away peacefully in her sleep on September 8th, 2022. She was born in Vietnam on December 31st, 1927, and is the loving mother of 9 children, who she raised as a young, single, immigrant woman. Ranh was a fierce mother figure to all her children and grandchildren, solidifying her role as the prominent matriarch. She loved the hustle and bustle of casinos, watching Vietnamese soap operas, listening to the Vietnamese radio, and cooking for her family. She was at her happiest when her family, scattered throughout Oklahoma, Texas, and Vietnam, were all together. She was a loyal and generous woman, always giving back to her family and friends in her own special ways.She is survived by daughter, Hoa Ty Truong of Vietnam; son, Lap Binh Truong and his wife, Tuyet Mai Truong of Oklahoma City, OK; son, Trieu Minh Truong and his wife, Loan Thi My Pham of Dallas, TX; daughter, Xuyen Thi Truong of Vietnam; son, Chuong Van Truong and his wife Huong Do of Bethany, OK; son, Hoang Anh Truong and his wife, Dieu Tran of Tulsa, OK; daughter, Van Ty Truong and her husband, Patrick Du of Yukon, OK; and grandchildren, Sabrina Mimi Truong of Oklahoma City, OK; Tracy Trinh Truong of Tyler, TX; Trini Trang Truong of Dallas, TX; Dorothy Nhu Y Truong of Oklahoma City, OK; Julia Tran Hien Truong of Tulsa, OK; Shawn T Hieu Truong of Tulsa, OK; and Nancy Thi Thao Truong of Oklahoma City, OK. She is preceded in death by husband, Song Van Truong and children, Dao Truong and Duyen Truong.
