Raylee Jo Collamore

Raylee Jo Collamore, 10, of Edmond, Oklahoma, was called home by her savior Jesus on March 24th, 2023.Raylee was born on January 29, 2013, to Jessica and Matt Collamore in Oklahoma City. Raylee attended Pre-K at Townsend Elementary in Mid-Del Public Schools, Pre-K and Kindergarten at Special Care and attended Special Care after school for six years. She attended 2nd Grade at Angie Debo elementary and 3rd Grade at Scissortail Elementary both in Edmond. By the third grade Raylee earned a PhD in capturing the hearts and minds of everyone who knew her. Raylee earned her PhD by demonstrating such skills as destroying indestructible books with ease, dessert theft with quick hands and speedy feet, giving authority figures the stank eye, and using her priceless charm to convince everyone with a smart phone to let her watch her favorite show, the Wheel of Fortune. Raylee had many hobbies including splashing excessively in water, banging plastic lids, turning light switches off and on repeatedly, staring at her doll face in the mirror, riding in the golf cart at maximum speed, boating and being at the lake, enjoying a good fire, eating all the snacks, taking selfies, chugging chocolate milk and egg nogg, and serving as the gatekeeper and bouncer at her Special Care classroom door. Raylee was preceded in death by Neta Collamore (Paternal Great Granny), Peggy Jo Babb (Paternal Mimi), and Edgar VanZandt (Maternal Great Grandpa). Raylee is survived by her father Matt Collamore, her mother Jessica Collamore, her sister Keyla Baghedtani, her PoPo Phillip Jack Collamore, her great grandma Jesse VanZandt, her PawPaw and Granny Larry and Velma VanZandt, her uncle and aunt Frank and Casie Collamore and their sons Cy and Bodi, her uncle and aunt Nathan and Kelly VanZandt and their children Kellen, Kendell, Owen, and Dawson, and numerous extended family members and friends who love her dearly. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to Special Care.
