Regena, 47 years of age, born on May 13, 1964 lost her courageous and hard fought battle with cancer n April 30, 2012 surrounded by her loving family. While the cancer broke her body, it never dampened her spirit. Regena was preceded in death by her mother, Nadine, and her father, Charles McNeill. She is survived by her loving husband, Micky, her daughter, Morgan, her sisters Dena McNeill, Susan Rear, and Holly Brown, her brother Mark, step mother Gean McNeill, mother-in-law Betty Walsh, sister-in-law Sheila Ehlers, and many beloved nieces, nephews, and brothers-in-law. Regena was born in Woodward, Oklahoma, the third child of Charles and Nadine McNeill. The family moved to Enid, Oklahoma. Charles later married Gean where Regena and Dena were joined by Gean's children, Susan and Holly, forming a lifelong friendship. Regena attended the University of Oklahoma, School of Law, graduating in 1990. She practiced law in Oklahoma City until her death. During her practice she earned the respect and love of the people that she whole-heartedly represented. She will be remembered as a staunch advocate for her clients, but a fair and honorable attorney to her opponents and the judges that she appeared before. People that knew her will always remember her spirit and a smile that could light up a room. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Regena had an ability to make any person she met feel that they had her full attention and that they were special in her eyes, which they were. Regena loved any activity that involved her friends and family. She was an avid scuba diver and had many special friends who shared her love for the deep. She also loved flying with her husband and spending time boating and relaxing with friends at Grande Lake. She was a consummate cook, loving to prepare feasts for all who would attend. She will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by all of those who knew and loved her.
